We are looking for an experienced Marine Consents Project Manager to join our expanding team. Our growing portfolio means you will be working with marine ecologists, ornithologists, oceanographers, surveyors, navigation specialists and environmental scientists to deliver a wide range of exciting projects. This role will include the co-ordination and interface management of large-scale development projects as well as strategy delivery across a diverse array of marine sectors. 

 

You have:

  • Knowledge of the UK marine planning and consenting regimes
  • A degree or postgraduate degree in a marine environmental discipline
  • At least five years’ project management experience in a consultancy, developer or regulatory background

 

You are a highly organised, collaborative and self-motivated individual, with excellent reporting writing and engaging presentation skills.  You will have a strong commitment to sustainable development in the marine environment.

 

Depending on your background you have skills and experience in:

 

  • Project and framework management/delivery including finances
  • Liaising with multi-disciplinary teams and managing multiple interfaces
  • Environmental Assessments including Environmental Impact Assessment, Habitats Regulations Assessments, Water Framework Directive, Marine Conservation Zone, Strategic Environmental Assessments and Sustainability Appraisals
  • Co-ordinating and managing projects through the consenting process including Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, Marine Licensing, Environmental Permitting
  • Marine survey management; including specification and scope development, procurement, operations and quality assurance
  • Preparation and contribution to the proposal/tendering process
  • Business development
