The role: HR Business Partner - Location Southampton – (Expected to be onsite for 4 days)
Fixed term contract - 12 months
This is an outstanding opportunity to join our experienced HR team in Southampton! You will work closely with the Regional Management teams under the mentorship of the Head of HR. Your role will be instrumental in delivering the business-aligned People Plan and HR strategy. You will provide mentorship and support to management teams, ensuring flawless HR delivery. Your proactive approach will help address short to medium-term and operational people issues, contributing to the success of the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Regional Management to implement the People Plan/HR strategy.
- Provide expert mentoring and support to management teams.
- Address operational people issues with a proactive approach.
- Ensure adherence to HR delivery models and standard methodologies.
- Drive initiatives that improve employee engagement and performance.
About you:
We are looking for an ambitious and proven HR professional with the following qualifications and skills:
- Strong competence in business and understanding of business needs.
- Proven experience in building strong working relationships with managers in complex environments.
- Passionate about customer service with a track record of achieving business deliverables.
- Knowledge and experience in implementing standard methodology HR solutions to drive a high-performance culture.
- Experience in mentoring and influencing managers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively to identify, develop, and retain talent.
- Excellent technical HR knowledge.
- Degree-level education and CIPD (level 5 and above) qualification or relevant experience demonstrating a high level of competence.
- Involved in organisational change programs such as restructures, redundancy, and TUPE.
