Job Role: Commercial Apprentice (Level 6) Business-To-Business Sales Professional.
Location: Primarily in the Humber, with time spent elsewhere within other ABP regions. 

Start Date: September 2025 (4-Year Apprenticeship) 
During your apprenticeship you will undertake and work towards completing apprentice training agreement, including attending college and completing appropriate course work and examinations. 

 

You'll work closely to assist the commercial coordinator to provide commercial administration support to the commercial team and first point of contact for speculative enquiries.


Responsibilities:

•    Respond to customer enquiries via Humber Commercial Inbox and provide quotations and proposals, ensuring timely follow up
•    Assist the collation of information and preparation of the Commercial Monthly Report
•    Assist with the co-ordination and completion of customer rate and port tariff reviews for the Humber
•    Provide business analysis information to inform HLT (KPIs/ Performance) 
•    Assist with internal commercial/billing enquiries and pass these on where appropriate
•    Ensure the Commercial team are updating opportunities regularly in the CRM; monitor the Humber pipeline (monthly review), go through with managers to understand/make any changes so that system is used correctly and in a co-ordinated manner for all Humber opportunities and prospects 
•    Work with Group to ensure maintenance and provision of key metrics
•    To comply at all times with ABP’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
•    Act at all times as an ambassador for ABP, clearly living and demonstrating the Company’s Vison and Values.


Entry Requirements:
5 X GCSEs (Including English & Maths to Level 5), plus 3 x A-Levels (or level 3 equivalent qualification) to grade C or above. Please ensure you list your grades for individual subjects on your application, indicating where they are predicted grades.
Good communication skills
Good time keeping/punctual able to meet deadlines and stay on task 

Full Driving Licence
