Every 10 seconds a vehicle passes through the gates of one of our docks on the Humber, we also have in excess of 4000 people who pass through the port every day - to ensure the people and cargoes are safe we have a complex network of physical security systems. We're currently looking to recruit an experienced asset lead with contract management experience of CCTV systems, door access, network infrastructure, fire alarm/suppression systems and BMS systems. 

 

You'll have experience of managing service maintenance contracts ideally hard FM to include CCTV, and should have a strong technical understanding of those systems. You should have an Electrically biased Engineering qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent) ideally with prior exposure to managing a large multi-site operation.

Role Accountabilities

Management and delivery of CCTV and Access Control service maintenance contracts across all four Humber ports

- Engagement and management of 3rd party support (Mitie/Other) to ensure SLA delivery

- Maintaining the CCTV & Access Control Asset Database using a CMMS system to ensure all assets are adequately maintained and asset information and history is suitably recorded
- Assisting the ABP Security Managers with identifying improvements to physical security systems and operational coverage
- Assisting the ABP I.T. teams with amendments to local and wide area networks to support current and future system expansion.
- Identify improvements and updates to legislation and compliance to service and/or procedures in line with ABP IT and Security systems and requirements
- Championing the ‘in-house’ ticketing system to ensure physical security system related faults are reported in the correct/timely manner
- Production of reports and automated stats (Power-Bi/GIS) to identify trends and maintenance ‘hot spots’
- Maintenance and Capex budget management
- Engagement with key ABP stakeholders to identify and implement requirements
 

Skills & Experience
- Electrically biased Engineering qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent)

- Troubleshooting of CCTV and Access Control systems 

- Good knowledge of IP networking and switching technology in a security environment
- VMS / IP Cloud management /Video AI & Analytics/ONVIF & NDAA
- Working knowledge of Video surveillance systems for use in security applications standards
- Working knowledge of Access control installation and maintenance standards 
- Working knowledge of Fire alarm system standards and guidelines
- Contract management experience within Facilities Management or similar
