We’re the UK's largest ports operator with a network of 21 ports around Britain. We handle around one quarter of the UK's seaborne trade and contribute £7.5 billion to our economy every year.

It’s a story we’re proud of but it doesn’t end there. We’re transforming our business and embracing the future.

We offer a vast range of roles spanning the UK, all rooted in a culture that welcomes diversity, fosters talent, encourages internal movement and progression, and places safety as our number one priority.

We've recently restructured our engineering team across the Humber to facilitate continuous improvement works across the region. These are necessary in order to support the businesses growth plans and our missions of Keeping Britain Trading and Enabling the Energy Transition. These changes will position the E&AM function to provide an optimum service to our internal and external customers and will ensure we manage the businesses interests in both the short and long terms. One of the roles we've created is an Engineering Planner to oversee works in the Hull and Goole Ports - you'll need to be qualified to Level 3 (NVQ) in a relevant engineering discipline with real world understanding of on the tools work.

You should have an understanding of Maintenance Planning; how we build the job, what kit is required, what materials are needed, understanding of demand vs capacity and capacity planning. You'll be based from Hull, but will need to travel on a regular basis to Goole, and attend occasional meetings in Immingham. Knowledge of industry regulations such as PUWER and LOLER is essential.
