We’re transforming Port Talbot into a major hub for floating offshore wind (FLOW) and green energy, and this is your opportunity to be part of it.

Through our Future Port Talbot programme, the port will become a central location for the manufacturing, assembly and integration of FLOW projects in the Celtic Sea. Alongside offshore wind, plans include sustainable aviation fuel production, hydrogen, onshore wind and carbon capture technologies, positioning Port Talbot as a leading green energy hub for Wales and the UK.

We are seeking a Project Manager with strong marine expertise. These projects play a critical role in supporting our growth ambitions and enabling the UK’s energy transition.

  • Oversee design, procurement, planning approvals, and construction, managing specialist contractors and consultants.
  • Drive project performance across complex marine environments, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, safety, and quality expectations.
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies, working with regulators, harbour authorities, environmental bodies, and local communities.
  • Manage risks, including environmental, geotechnical, and operational constraints.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience delivering major marine or port infrastructure projects (£20m+), such as quay walls, dredging, or coastal engineering schemes.
  • Strong understanding of marine construction methodologies, contract management, and supply chain coordination.
  • Experience navigating planning, consenting, and marine licensing processes.
