We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Marine Coordinator to join our team in Barrow-in-Furness. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of marine activities within the port. You’ll need to have recent experience within a marine environment including knowledge and understanding of port lock operations.

Essentials
- Ability to react confidently within a dynamic marine environment.
- Recent experience within a marine environment including knowledge and understanding of port lock operations.
- Ability to provide appropriate and responsible advice to port user enquiries.
- Proficient in the use of computers and possess a working familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Competency in VHF radio operation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Capable of working on own initiative on a rotating shift pattern.
