What You'll Be Doing
As part of the Port Office Support team, you'll play a key role in supporting port operations through efficient administration and stock control activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver administrative support to port operations and management teams
  • Maintain accurate stock control and business records
  • Support weighbridge, billing and reporting activities
  • Handle customer enquiries and telephone communications
  • Manage employee and payroll-related administration
  • Use SAP and other systems to support day-to-day port operations
  • Assist with general office and business support activities as required

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and management
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellent service

 

Desirable

  • Previous experience within a supply chain, logistics, transport, or operational environment
