We are looking for a Principal/Senior Consultant to join our Environment Team who will be responsible for managing and advising on a wide range of large-scale marine and coastal projects including Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.


About you


You know about the UK marine planning and consents regime and have demonstrable project management experience, preferably within a consultancy environment. 


You are a highly organised, collaborative and self-motivated individual, with excellent report writing and engaging presentation skills. You will have a strong commitment to sustainable development in the marine environment.


Depending upon your background you will have skills and experience in:


  • Project management/delivery
  • Environmental Assessments including Environmental Impact Assessment, Habitats Regulations Assessments, Water Framework Directive, Marine Conservation Zone, Strategic Environmental Assessments and Sustainability Appraisals
  • Co-ordinating and managing projects through the marine licensing and consenting process
  • Preparation and contribution to the proposal/tendering process
  • Business Development




  • You will have a degree or postgraduate degree in a marine environmental discipline
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in a consultancy or regulatory background
  • A background in staff development
