Business Administration Apprentice (Level 3)

We are offering an opportunity to join our new HR Services team based in Hull, as a Business Administration Apprentice. The apprenticeship will take up to 18 months to complete and could lead to a permanent Administration role with ABP depending on performance. 

 

In this role you will support and engage with different parts of ABP. With a focus on adding value, the role of HR administrator contributes to the efficiency of the organisation. You will also be expected to show initiative, managing priorities and own time, problem-solving skills, decision-making and the potential for people management responsibilities through mentoring or coaching others. 

 

What are the entry requirements? 

  • 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above including English and Maths. 

  • Strong organisational skills. 

  • Resilience, with the ability to maintain professional and positive attitude in a customer-facing environment. 

  • Strong team-working abilities and communication skills. 

  • Able to use own initiative and make decisions. 

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy. 

  • Able to work with senior stakeholders and maintain confidentiality. 

  • Good computer skills and knowledge of relevant software such as Microsoft Word and Excel. 

  • A full driving licence is desirable (or working towards obtaining).
