Humber Ports

ABP’s Humber Ports are integral to UK energy supply chains, helping to keep 1 in 10 of the nation’s lights on.

The UK’s busiest trading estuary, our ports on the Humber contribute £2.5 billion to the UK economy every year.

They handle around a million cruise passengers, 40,000 shipping movements and 56 million tonnes of cargo every year including vehicles, containers, bulks, liquid bulks and forest products. No two days are the same for our teams.

ABP Humber ports have shaped our communities for centuries and provide a range of fantastic opportunities. Today they support 23,000 local jobs and employ more than 1,200 ABP employees.

Spanning a wide range of industries, the Ports of Hull, Goole, Immingham and Grimsby service a broad customer base. Immingham is currently the UK's largest port by volume.

Humber ports ensure that all ships travel safely on the Humber every day while at the same time leading environmental development projects from green energy to shoreline protection. They also have a strong track record of investing in renewable energy and are among Europe’s leading solar power producing businesses.

We are constantly looking for new talent to join this fast paced, customer-focussed environment offering exciting opportunities from piloting mega-ships to engineering, cargo handling and corporate roles. We seek colleagues who will focus on our customers, rise to our daily challenges and ensure that safety is first in all that they do.
